Meet the Newman ELC Team!

Dr. Patty Newman, Owner/Director

With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Patty Newman is passionate about creating high-quality early learning experiences. She spent nearly 15 years as an early childhood teacher before moving into higher education, where she played a key role in overseeing a teacher preparation program, taught courses in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, and Classroom Management, and supervised field and student teaching. Most recently, she worked as a special education co-teacher in an inclusive classroom for children ages 3-5.

As a dedicated educator and mother of three (ages 14, 1.5, and 6 months), Dr. Newman understands the importance of a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment. With the support of her wonderful husband, Victor, she is excited to bring her expertise and passion to Newman Early Learning Center, where children can grow, explore, and thrive.

Mr. Victor, Head of Maintenance & Substitute Teacher

Mr. Victor is Newman ELC’s go-to substitute teacher and resident handyman! He is married to Ms. Patty, and together they have three wonderful children. With his helpful nature, problem-solving skills, and friendly personality, Mr. Victor is always ready to lend a hand and make Newman ELC the best it can be!

Ms. Marissa, Head Teacher and Lead Toddler Room Teacher

Ms. Marissa is the Head Teacher at Newman ELC and is excited to be part of the team. She graduated from Stockton University in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in K-6 Education and aspires to receive an Early Childhood Education certification. Marissa has years of experience working with various age groups, from third grade classrooms to newborn and infant settings.

Outside of work, Marissa is married to her wonderful and supportive husband, and together they have a daughter, Emily, who is currently in the infant classroom at Newman ELC. They also have two cats who are the best of friends. Marissa looks forward to meeting and supporting families as they trust Newman ELC with the care of their most precious gift.

Ms. Rebecca, Lead Infant Room Teacher

She holds an Associate’s Degree in Education from Rowan College at Burlington County and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
